R Kikuo Johnson is an illustration artist who I have followed since studying graphics. I have always admired is work since coming crossing him in one of my comic illustration books, The work R Kikuo produces is very simplistic, this is why I have decided to research him for this project because me and my team are looking to create animation that is simplistic but well executed, so have decided to use R kick Johnson as an inspirational guideline for my self when comes to designing both my partners James Beardsell and Molly Lester for his tradgic stories about their families.
The reasons for liking R kikuo's work is because he work similar to me and his drawing style is quite close to mine, is very simplistic and effective in its use when he decides to illustrate anything. Any time I see his work it excites me and gets me think of many ways to create my own illustrated characters and scenes in my drawing style.
I will still keep using his work as I progress in this project as I am still refining my drawing style event further with practice daily.
