MOVING DOG ONFORM

MOVING DOG ONFORM
I developed an animated dog as a shape for the Onform challenge because this weeks new shape presented the a form which reminded me of Crash Bandicoot's body upwards. I didn't want to create a character that already existed so I decided to create a dog that moves, mostly because I have not animated any of the previous shapes, so I wanted to give this one a go.

unfortunately this shape was not submitted, I personally think that it was because the animation was a bit too static and did not move very well, I  think that this could have been animated a lot better than it has, my weakness is that I don't really animate directly on to a digital screen so I am not used to animating directly onto Photoshop, I work with a lot of traditional work but struggled to see how I could have incorporated  this method the shape based position and scale in relation to the image.

In future if I am to animate one of these shapes again, I will make sure that the I experiment more with different animation techniques and try out new methods before applying this to the shape it self.
