One of the competition I have entered was Illustration competition based on developing a drawn image of anything based on a Genre e.g. Sci-Fi, Horror, Thriller. I chose to design and illustration for Sci-Fi and developed a fantasy like Sci-Fi characters in space, I chose this competition because it reflected my skill to draw as a graphic artist and gained my interest because of my passion and excitement for illustration, plus I had varied ideas for drawings to develop so this was the first competition I planned to enter on my list found on www.graphiccompetitions.com.
This submission is for an art competition called infected by art, which is a competition that sets themes which artist world chose and draw an image co-responding to that theme e,g, Scifi, Action.
I chose this Competition because it was illustration based and I enjoy illustrating graphically, I also thought it would be interesting because it involved arrange of different themes for me to chose from when deciding to illustrate. Illustrating is something I enjoy most because its an area I am strong in.
This makes me move on based on the practice I get from taking part in this competiton this means I am developing my drawing skills whilst designs for this competition which helps me improve my own individual art skills but also gets me know based on the piece I create, this helps build my career opportunities and gives me good practice with in my profession.
