Loop da Loop (Competition 2) Deadline: November 15, 2015

Loop da Loop is a animation competition which takes place every month with a different theme where participants have to submit animated gif or clip relating current theme if certain submission are good enough they will be rated by views based on there content, only 100 of these submissions relating to the theme will be shown around the world if there good enough. This months theme is LOL so any animation submitted can be anything along as it is laugh out loud funny, if any submission is funny enough they will be screened world wide in ; Los Angeles, London, New York, Paris, Tel-Aviv, Puebla City (MEXICO!), Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

For this I have submitted one of my previous pieces I did for My animated self I did last year as a demonstration of my animation skills, because it features a lot of very funny actions that have been considered funny by people I have shown this animation to, I felt this would me more sense because It would prevent me from re-creating something when I already have a LOL quality animation.

I chose this competition because it is very simple and straight forward for me to understand because it gives you main objective to focus on and that is the word LOL, a popular, common and familiar phrase/word/abbreviation which is recognised by millions of people around the world using social networking. I am free to do any animation as I please, I have a choice to what I produce which is what made this brief a favourite for me.

I chose to submitted the piece I did because I think it was symbolic to the world LOL, my animation was about a boy who threw a ball and it ended up rebounding and hitting him back in his face. I think this possesses laughing qualities because its all about someone failing to achieve something so simple e.g. hitting a target.
