Chosen book : Empire Windrush

my chosen brief is "title", the aim of this brief to select a book you know and create a title sequence to film adaption, I am advised to choose the book and the starring actors. These must include:

• The book must not have previously been adapted for film or TV
• The title sequence must be exactly 30 seconds in length
• You must have permission, if required, to use any selected audio

I have chosen to create a title sequence for a historical book called "Empire Windrush" which focuses on the arrival of the Empire windrush which brought along anxious and keen workers from the caribbean who were in search of a better life and hoped they would find one working in England.

This is my chosen book because I have done previous research on it have gained an understanding of what took place create a title sequence that symbolically communicates what the historic event is about through movement and characterisation.
