Scene and animation Experimentation

To day I have been experimenting with my animation for the background and scenery with in our group animation for our documentary. The reason for this is because our previous crit highlighted many flaws relating to the background work and its movements which were considered as static with in each scene in relation to the foreground animation. This was brought to my attention during the crit session the background animation was said to be very slow and the characters were not in sync with each scene, my role with in this whole project is to make sure the background animation helps tell a story just as much as the characters in  the foreground, through the use of colours for emotions and good time framed movement to make sure that the animation does not exceed its time frame.

These experimentations will help this project move forward  because this will allow me to develop an understanding of different ways I can approach each scene and to make them even better through the practice of different techniques. This will not just develop my techniques when making these animations but I will also be able to receive critical feedback and reviews from my peers on how I could make my animations better or they could decide on which animations from my tests they possibly like or would like to see me develop further.

So far the experimentation has been going well because the movements are flowing a lot better that my previous animations and there is more going on because I have added additional effects to give the animation more emotion and excitement to avoid the fullness my other test presented. The previous tests were dull because they only had one vain of movement which happened to be very slow, this was highlighted on in the interm crit.
