| Time frame |
My video currently runs at 52 seconds, my target is 30 seconds, the main reason for this is because the scenes created each run slightly over 5 seconds mainly for their content. I aimed to make each scene a motion comic piece with captions and in each one, their is supposed to be at least 5 seconds to fit in both the titles and moving imagery, the problem is due to the animations moving too quick and cutting early if they are reduced in size. The video its self was originally 1 minute and 15 seconds which was too high so I had to reduce it as low as I could but sadly the only limit I could reach was at least 52 seconds which means I am over my main time frame of 30 seconds by 22 seconds alone.
A though that came to mind was to delete a few scenes to narrow the seconds down to 30 but I realised that my title sequence would no longer make any sense which means the content is no longer able to flow as a narrative piece.
I think that it would have been better if I estimated a time frame for each scene around five seconds and worked to that margin. These scenes were worked on as individual files to make their compositions easier to construct and edit. I felt worried at the beginning of creating this animation because I thought That I would produced a limited amount of scenes with very short time frames and would not meet my target, but appears to work perfectly.
If I was to do this again I would anticipate each movement of each element in every scene and make sure I pin point 5 sections in the time frame and make sure I am working to 5 seconds and no more. I need to make sure I keep running it through to check the time frame and to make sure the movement is correct and not to quick.
