This scene alone focuses on the travel of the Empire Windrush making its journey to England, I want the wave to anchor up and down to simulate the sea along with its pattern and flow. I have drawn a link to the Lemony snicket's A series of unfortunate events title sequence which involves a similar concept with the sea as shaped cut outs. my main focus is to analyse the sea movement and use that to make the scene look clean a life like, I plan to use a camera view and 3D setting for the layers to give and effect of reality.

| Scene 6 |
This is my development for scene 6 I have drawn my silhouettes as shapes and shade each and every part of the scene. Each layer has been separated and grouped in order to be animated in after effects, the idea is to illustrate the idea of a realistic scene of playing dominos I want the characters to look like the are anticipating each others moves, hands and arms will be moved with in the to illustrate the competition between the characters.
I have focused on this style main because I have been worked with silhouettes mainly as illustrations, I had worked on Windrush as a previous project and storyboarded some of the key scenes and thought It would be good animate this subject in relation to my storyboard.
I have looked at Titled sequences like Kiss Kiss bang bang and mad men.

Animated silhouette test
This is mainly a test to see how moving silhouettes with in my animation will work and what method could I use to get them working according to my script. The main objective of this task was to give me a clear view of what motion I will use for the movement e.g. slow, fast.
I worked mainly on moving each shape together because of the hard work involved in moving the shapes individually in finding out that what was being done was wrong and that i could attach the layer using a specific tool so the shapes moved in motion to one anther in line and synch.
I examined and test a live walk cycle to work out the movement of the joints and where I was going wrong with animating a walk cycle.

Colour theory talk 2
This session was a recap on the last, the main focus was the different contrast with colours and what makes a colour distinguishable from the other in contrast and the definition of cold and warm colours.
colour theory talk 1
Talked about the theory of colour and how the eyes work when coming in contact with colour. We studied the anatomy of an eye and leads to the colours we see and what leads to colour blindness, learnt how blends shades and tints work according to colour.

Background examples
I really like this animation for the story concept and colouring, the toning makes the characters look more realistic and lively plus the form of characters are very smooth and the background is dark according to the the setting of where the characters are. The brain with in the character s are made to look like a control centre which could be seen as funny aspect to the animation based on its content.
This animation is similar to that of the one above in its tone and text and keeps the tone shading and colouring the same, the fridge glows based on its metallic look and hard shinny material the colouring of the rooms and areas are dim based on real life colours object look oval and shined in relation to the three dimensional look to make the presentation a pear more real.
The background in the animation is very bright according to its setting and is made to look soft in relation to the story Goldie locks, is made more brighter and visible. There are not tones and mainly just one colour mode for each character.

Map dotting and journey
This is an experimentation for the first scene of my animated title sequence. The main focus was to create a pattern that illustrated the journey of the Empire windrush from The Caribbean to England. This scene will later be followed by another boat scene which will show the actual boat traveling over the scene and across scenery to show the journey close up.
To create the journey effect I used a masked layer in reverse over the drawn sequence of dotted shapes and moved the mask step by step reveal each circle shape individually whilst adjusting the position in the transform section of the masked layer.
Sketch book work
These are some of my personal sketches, I have personally experimented with different medias to see what effects it gives my work and deciding how to develop my skills and understanding of what materials work together and ones that don't so I am able to develop better drawings in the future. My drawing of human form needs improving along with my linier and tone.

Flow form and force 2 (related videos to animation in life drawing form)
This video focuses on gestures and still poses in almost a form of animation to give of a feeling and talks through the simple steps of drawing the forms but basically. The talk is mainly something I struggled with when drawing from life was Gesture because I focused too much on detail and not enough on the positioning of the figure its self as the artist Stan Prokopenko explains.
Another posing video that focuses on different poses and movements and stances that change in sequences to the previous. The video its self focuses on its style and detail the is given to show the visual look of a character and their body form.
A basic talk though and rough sketches of character in a basic understanding of form of movement, the Youtuber pin points the forms in sizes and steps and talks you through the methods of drawing them.

I have found this life drawing easy as I am used to drawing figures and have practiced drawing the natural human forms from a real life perspective. I do though struggle with perspectives after not drawing from different angles for a very long time, personally I think I need to practice perspectives in my spare time and study the angles I draw in. The main problem for me was drawing simple forms in 10 seconds, I think I need to keep some forms simpler and focus on drawing quicker with cleaner and smoother strokes.
Research on windrush documentary
This is a four part documentary on the windrush, it follows the story of the windrush and displays an image of a windrush book I have Called With hope in their eyes by Vivian Francis. The image it self was displayed in the title sequence for the documentary, the title sequence is text based and features a compilation of images that travel with in the text "Windrush" to illustrate what the meaning of the name stands for and the events that took place in relation to the word
The compilation of moving words works well as animated features it livens up the text and gives it meaning and a purpose through the moving imagery all relating to one subject that of the Empire windrush and the people involved in its embarked journey.

Ceramics modelling
This is a couple of images from my modelling process I documented during the ceramics induction. We began this whole process by making our models from :
1. Get block of wood to create stand and drill two holes half way through wood to add screws for models to stand on.
2. create wired skeleton
3. When skeleton add milliput to non functional areas e.g. shins of character
4. then overlay parts with tape so plaster does not stick to model and use paper and tape for the head
5. add plaster scene and cover all areas
6. Now bore dints for eye sockets and create eyes from miliput
I created my model but things went wrong along the way especially moulding my figure and mixing the foam to created the cast. The body stuck to the cast mainly because of the frame sleeping between the moulder causing it to glue the block together. Moulding was a problem because mixtures were not not firm enough and I had not greased the template with wax before putting the mixture.
